We had an awesome first season as Sturdy Bitch Racing.  We had amazing sponsors, Sturdy Bitch , Diamondback Bikes , Big Tree Bikes , MDJ Racing, and Rocket Promo .  We also had some help from the crew at the BC Bike Race to get us to that epic adventure.  In the meantime, we raised $$ for the Breast Cancer Fund and had the support of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance . 

We raced early in the season during the Budu Race series, we raced some Indie Series races, we headed to Canada a number of times, some for Whistler weekends, the BC Bike Race and the Cheakamus Challenge.  Also hit Bend and California, what a great summer.

What was also even better than all that was the support we got from everyone on the journey throughout the year.     We had a ton of support from other gals throughout the winter season.  We received donated products to auction off, we got a cruiser bike, we had a ton of participants that bought those awesome products at our auction.  And then there was family and friends that somehow, still loved us even though we were absentee right up until the BC Bike Race training our butts off. 

Thanks to ALL for the support throughout the year.  And thanks to our teammates..we're gonna be missing Angela and Jodi next year.  Was a blast to have them with us but we look forward to seeing them at races next year.  Should be fun to watch Katie and Jodi competing against each other this year instead of "with" each other this year.

We're also looking forward to next year.  Katie Kathy, Virginia and I will be welcoming Ady, Marie, and Jenn to the team this year.  We're nailing down next year's schedule and trying to figure out what sounds like fun but I imagine it will be as much of a blast as this year was. 

We'll be working on a "winter training" plan and will post rides to the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance  calendar in the next month or so.  Lastly, we  have a date for next year's auction so put January 20th on your calendar. We'll be raising money for the Breast Cancer Fund again so please do check out their website.  More details to follow!
