Spotlight on Our Sponsors - Big Tree Bikes!

Did you know, BigTree Bikes  tunes skiis?  I didn't but I found out today when I headed down to get some pics, chat with Zeb and see what was going on down at the shop.

Big Tree still is doing their usual awesome job on tuning bikes, building wheels, and providing great services to the Seattle area but it turns out, past experience in a ski shop simply expands the service they provide.  So this winter might not be the best for biking, you can still head down to Stone Way and get your skiis ready to rip it up.  Prices are great and there is no waiting.  Right now they're turning them out next day so if you need 'em quick, get in there and drop them off.

For those of you that don't happen to know, Big Tree Bikes is located at 4031 Stone Way N in Seattle.   Shop owners Zeb and Jerry are avid riders and racers.  Big Tree also has a youth development program so not only are they a local business, they're doing their part for the local youth riders as well.

The shop carries quite a range of bikes, from Yeti, Kona, Commencal to our local Bellingham manufacturer Transition Bikes.  While they don't carry road bikes in the shop, they may be able to order it so be sure to check and see what they can get for you.

Want to say a HUGE thanks to Big Tree for their support in our second year as Sturdy Bitch Racing.  We are proud to represent Big Tree and we love the work they do on our bikes. Not only do they keep everything tuned and replace parts etc., they built a beautiful set of wheels for Katie's Diamondback Sortie Black.  She rode the hell out of those wheels all summer and at the BC Bike Race and they've held up incredibly well.  She couldn't be happier with them.  We are super-psyched to have Big Tree Bikes as a 2011 sponsor!

Go in - check them out for skiis or for bikes - Big Tree Bikes is open Tues-Friday 12:00-7:00 and Saturdays 12:00-6:00.

See you on the trails or on the slopes this winter!
